Let’s kick 2019 off with a fun tag. I saw this over on Drew’s blog and thought I’d give it a go. The original was posted on the booktube channel Bookables. If you fancy doing it too, consider yourself tagged!
How many books are you planning to read in 2019?
Well…last year I set my Goodreads target at 12 because I didn’t want to pressure myself & ended up reading 160 books… So this year I’ve gone for 150 but I already feel like I’m falling behind! I’m going to try and forget about it and just read like I normally would and see what happens. I’d like to hit 200 one year but that feels a way off yet.
Name five books you didn’t get to read last year but want to make a priority in 2019?
1. Bloody Rose – Nicholas Eames
2. Fire & Blood – GRR Martin
3. In the Region of the Summer Stars – Stephen Lawhead
4. Child of a Mad God – RA Salvatore
5. Tombland – CJ Sansom
Name a genre you want to read more of?
Not really a genre, but I’d like to read more non-fiction this year. Fiction-wise I’m happy sticking to fantasy and its various sub-genres
Three non-book related goals for 2019
1. settle into my new job
2. plan our wedding
3. travel more in the UK
What’s a book you’ve had forever that you still need to read?
A Natural History of Dragons – Marie Brennan
One word that you’re hoping 2019 will be?
Productive
(not a very exciting word, granted, but I have lots I want to get done this year so here’s hoping I manage it 😀 )
